Gryphon House
CONCEPT AND CREATIVE DIRECTION           BUILT (2021)

Installation for the opening of Gryphon House’s Arbutus Greenway Project.

Inspired by the gardens of Piet Oudolf, the installation uses a variety of textural grasses, wildflowers and moss to create an indoor garden that changes with the season. Natural and irregular formality of greenery is juxtaposed with symmetry of classical architecture in this site-specific installation. The selection of species reflects Vancouver’s lush topography including the Arbutus Greenway and the future public promenade near the development. Photography by Studio Santiago.
